At dawn on Wednesday, February 12, Cuban singer Santiago Feliu, one of the great voices of the Cuban trova, died in Havana.

His death was caused by a heart attack. According to sources, Feliu, 51, suffered a severe pain in the chest, was taken to hospital, but arrived lifeless. By express will of his family his body will be cremated.
