Between the Design District and Downtown Miami there is an open-air art gallery. Giant caricatures, hyperrealist paintings and all types of fantastic drawings come to life in the buildings and walls of Wynwood, an old zone of desolated warehouses that today has been transformed into one of the most picturesque barrios of the United States. Wynwood Walls, the epicenter of this hotbed of graffiti, also exhibits works by world renowned artists like Invader, Kenny Scharf and Shephard Fairey, thus becoming a modern street art museum.
