Cuban designers who practice abroad will present their work on the island in the exhibition Geo – Grafica, which will take place from March 1st through the 28th in the L Gallery at the University of Havana and located at L Street between 21 and 23.
Geo – Grafica , according to the official announcement, seeks to bring together in one space works of Cubans living outside the island that, for its content, illustrate the insertion of the Cuban design in their adopted countries , either within a company or association, or as freelancers .
As indicated by its organizers in the Event on Facebook ” The richness of the sample consists of a balance between the common ( shared values , origin , experience , professional profile ) and miscellaneous ( the ways in which this wealth has been applied , integrated , adapted to new realities ) . “
This initiative will set a precedent for future opportunities for dialogue and joint work.
