Liuba Maria always knew the weakness that Cubans feel for the days of February. A single day is enough, the 14th for us to go through the streets of cities looking for love and its expression. So she has sung so much to love didn’t want to miss the opportunity of this month to give us the charm of her art.

Hence a lucky day she wrote a song that among many things says, “And Havana worn another dress, to receive on the road, two who loved each other in bed. Lights sprouted from her hair when lovers under walked the universe under a lantern. "

This song’s name is "Havana in February" and it is included in her album Del verso a la mar de 1998 and serves as a pretext for a concert with the same name, with which to celebrate once the incredible sum of a thirty-year career artistic and the centennial of the National Museum of Fine Arts.

For the occasion Liuba wanted to be accompanied by actress Veronica Lynn, she will be her special guest on February 16, when at eight p.m. she fill with her presence the stage of the theater of the Museum of Fine Arts.

The troubadour has put in the hands of Osvaldo Doimeadiós the artistic direction of a show that aims to be intimate within a theater room that lends itself to that goal. There dramaturgical different resources such as lights, dance, and audiovisual products will serve to Liuba’s voice to rule-again-on things and men.

This presentation will be the first of her National Tour "Havana in February" to hit the different provinces of the country to meet up with the people along the island which follow her creative work.

In that way she will perform on February 21 in Camagüey, Sancti Spiritus on the 23 and 24, Villa Clara on the 26 and 27. Cienfuegos will host her on March 1st, as if she and the spring were the same thing. In Pinar del Rio we can enjoy her music on March 5 and in the newly created province Mayabeque two days later.

Liuba María Hevia begins 2013 rewarding stages of the country by all the love Cubans have lavished her with throughout her thirty-year career.
