The number of people detected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus dropped to 26 in Cuba, as reported this morning by Dr. Francisco Durán during his daily appearance before the press.
There were no deaths yesterday and the number of fatalities from the pandemic remained at 122, with a lethality rate of 2.22%.

All the cases were autochthonous, all of them correspond to Cubans, and all were contacts of confirmed cases, according to the information also collected in the report issued by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
The provinces that registered the contagions were Havana (16 infections in eight municipalities), Ciego de Ávila (6 in three municipalities), Sancti Spíritus (2 in the provincial capital), Artemisa (1 in Candelaria) and Matanzas (1 in Cárdenas).
There was a balance between women and men (13), and 12 of the 26 patients were asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis.
With yesterday’s 36 discharges, the number of patients who have recovered in Cuba from the pandemic is now 4,787. Five were kept in intensive care: two in critical condition and three in serious condition.
