Five days without deaths from COVID-19 and 12 new infections, of which one hundred percent were related to confirmed contacts. Today’s report by the health authorities on the pandemic in Cuba focused on this data.
Once again, the new infections all corresponded to Cubans and the provinces where they are concentrated were Havana, with 7 cases, and Matanzas, with 5.

There were the same amount of infected women and men, while the most affected age groups correspond to people between 40 to 60 years, with 5 cases; and under 40, with four.
Seven persons were diagnosed without having any symptoms.
Yesterday there were 9 discharges, for 1,839 recovered patients; meanwhile, four patients were reported in serious condition: three in Havana and one in Las Tunas.
As of midnight yesterday, 527 people were hospitalized for epidemiological clinical surveillance and 1,955 were under primary healthcare surveillance in their homes.
The country has processed a total of 112,449 tests. Only yesterday, according to what Dr. Francisco Durán said today, 2,100 samples were analyzed.
The island has registered a total of 2,119 infections and the death toll remains at 83.
