The Hermanos Saiz Association granted Cuban Carlos Acosta, leading figure of the London Royal Ballet, the Member of Honor distinction.

During the ceremony Acosta told the press: “I still want to do a lot for my people, for the well-being of my country; becoming a bond between my country and the world because I think that we should only care about the well-being of the nation. That’s why all artists and intellectuals must unite on a single path: The happiness of our people”.

Acosta also announced that he will publish in the near future his novel "Pata de puerco" (Pig’s foot) and said he want to create a choreographic version of the ballet Don Quixote to reintroduce it into the British company’s repertoire.

Cuba will charge people who travel abroad for PCR tests, at least if the country to which they are going “requires it.”
