Havana nights have not been discoloured yet by the blinding light of big billboards and signs. The dim lights that pierce the night here and there are not enough to drive away the shadows, which serve as contrasting background to these flashes of bright colors.

So constant lack of electricity, darkness and no public lighting or billboards is romantic now? Swallow that New York,Rome and Paris!! It’s so appealing to eat your at the light of a kerosene lamp. Or a bath with a bucket of water that you carried from a block away. You are either not aware of the reality of the street people or playing a game.
Please know that the Cuba for tourists is a world away from reality of normal life in Cuba. My family suffers without my help.
