President Donald Trump said this Monday that he will sign an executive order to temporarily suspend immigration to the United States amid the coronavirus outbreak.
In the tweet he said that in light of the attack by the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, he would sign an executive order to temporarily suspend immigration to the United States.

The announcement is consistent with the president’s anti-immigrant policy and his promise to build a wall on the border between the United States and Mexico.
The United States has the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world, with more than 774,000 infections.
More than 22 million people have applied for unemployment benefits since Trump declared the national emergency on March 13.
