Thirteen artists from the Havana Company of the National Circus of Cuba will participate in the International Circus Festival in Rome, Italy. The Cubans will perform two acts that were awarded last year’s International Circus Festival in Summer, Circuba 2013, that took place in Havana.
The new Pole Dance-Silver Star and the number of fixed bars with double rank-Bronze Star-will measure their talent among about 50 artists from various countries at the event, which opened on Saturday, December 21 and that will run until Sunday January 12, 2014.
It parallel to contest, they will have the world premiere of Circus Pain, photographic exhibition byJosé Manuel Cordero and noted for his humanistic approach for circus artists worldwide.
