Coronavirus in Cuba: 2,844 tests and four positive cases yesterday

For the eleventh day no deaths were reported on the island from COVID-19.

After Monday’s rebound, Cuban health authorities report that the number of patients with COVID-19 on the island are again restricted: four infections in the last 24 hours, another day without registering deaths or critically ill patients.

Yesterday 2,844 tests were made, with which the country has processed to date a total of 192,443, of which 2,399 have been positive.

All the infections today were recorded in women, from Havana, and all were asymptomatic at the time of their diagnosis.

By age group, two of them are under 20 years old; one is in the group of 20 to 30, and another one of the 30 to 40.

At midnight on July 7, 197 people were hospitalized and 214 were under primary healthcare surveillance.
