With the number of hospitalized people on the rise (142), the health authorities reported eight infections as of midnight yesterday. However, no deaths from COVID-19 were reported.

“The risk is in not protecting ourselves,” said Dr. Francisco Durán in his daily press conference. And he warned: “To say that there are no cases of infection in the community is not true.”

Those diagnosed today are Cubans, from Havana and Mayabeque, seven of whom were related to confirmed cases, and only in one individual is the source of the infection not specified.
