The week started for Cuba with two new COVID-19 cases and no deaths, after the health authorities announced the update of the records for the last 24 hours .
They are Cubans; one was a contact of a confirmed case and the other acquired the SARS-CoV-2 virus abroad. Both were asymptomatic.
The person who acquired the disease abroad is a 67-year-old woman from Placetas, Villa Clara, who came from the United States. The other positive case is an 84-year-old man residing in Cerro.

Until midnight, 249 were hospitalized, while 233 people were under primary healthcare surveillance.
Although the greatest number of daily tests is carried out in Havana, yesterday many were studied from all over the country, for a total of 2,978, according to the Ministry of Public Health. With them, the country has processed a total of 208,098 tests since March, of which 2,428 have been positive.
