“Súper fácil” (Super easy) is the name of the new digital commercial center available to Cubans, according to the island’s media.

The platform was created by the Information Technology and Advanced Telematics Services Company (CITMATEL), belonging to the Cuban Ministry of Science, Technology and  Environment (CITMA), and its opening is taking place in the middle of a government campaign – led by President Miguel Díaz-Canel – that is promoting the “computerization of society” and the presence on the web of state and government institutions.

The commercial center allows the island’s Internet users “to have access to Cuban products and services in the national territory in their own shops,” CITMATEL specialists said to the Cuban News Agency (ACN).

The products that can be purchased in “Super easy” are “Cuban digital contents of varied themes, languages and formats, electronic books, audiobooks, videos, documentaries, movies, games and multimedia,” which are sold “at affordable prices in CUP” (Cuban pesos), according to the ACN.

Also included are “IT solutions for private businesses and their payment for services previously hired from CITMATEL in their offices throughout the country,” added the company’s specialists, who affirmed that “new shops will be incorporated soon.”
