Hotels in Cuba nominated for World Travel Awards

Meliá, Iberostar, Royalton, Gran Caribe, Kempinski and Gaviota hotels appear on the list available on the award website.

A group of tourist facilities in Cuba belonging to various hotel chains was nominated for the World Travel Awards in its 30th edition, to be held next August.

Meliá, Iberostar, Royalton, Gran Caribe, Kempinski, and Gaviota hotels appear once again on the list available on the award website.

A report by Prensa Latina (PL) news agency lists the nominees for Meliá, in whose group Meliá Cohiba and Meliá Cayo Coco appear.

Also Meliá’s are Paradisus Río de Oro (Holguín), Paradisus Varadero and Paradisus Princesa del Mar (Varadero), and Meliá Las Dunas (Cayo Santa María).

As for the rest of the nominations, the names of de Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski (Kempinski), Hotel Nacional (Gran Caribe), and the Royalton Habana (Royalton), Gran Hotel Bristol (Kempinski) and Florida (Gaviota) hotels are read.

The World Travel Awards are awarded taking into account the opinion of numerous professionals, travelers and scholars of the leisure industry, according to this source.

Cuba distinguished as the Best Cultural Destination in Caribbean in World Travel Awards 2021

This year’s nominees cover a wide spectrum of categories, including aviation, tourist attractions, car rentals, cruises, destinations, hotels and resorts, meetings and events, travel agencies and tour operators, according to Caribbean News Digital.

After the closing of the voting, the winner of each category will be invited to attend the Gala Ceremony of these awards, the main meeting of tourism personalities, which will take place at Sandals Grande St. Lucian, in Saint Lucia, this source pointed out.

Voting will be open until July 9 at https://www.worldtravelawards.com/vote.
