The flaming home run derby champion of Major League Baseball Yoenis Cespedes was traded this morning by his team, the Oakland Athletics, to the iconic Boston Red Sox.

Céspedes was changed by the star pitcher Jon Lester and outfielder Jonny Gomes, in a smart move for both teams, the Athletics looking to have a pitching staff that takes them to the World Series, with four luxury starters: Sonny Gray, Scott Kazmir , Samardzija and Lester now.

Meanwhile the Boston team with the Cuban will reinforce its very depreciated offense this year, which has meant that to date it has a negative balance of 48 wins and 60 losses.

Céspedes until yesterday compiled 17 homers and 26 doubles with 65 RBIs in 101 games. He must move to Gomez position in left field and strengthen the line-up that includes Papi Ortiz, Pedroia and napoli
