Higinio says: “We have not had any contact with any professional team agents” and later he added: “The inclusion of Cuban players in professional leagues is a possibility still under study …”

Second act- Coincidentally, that same day the official website of Mexican baseball squad Piratas de Campeche publishes the following information: “The recruitment of Cuban international catcher Ariel Pestano … will be essential for the young pitchers who will be playing with the Industriales de Coatzacoalcos in Veracruz Winter League.”
