This Sunday the Cuban Ministry of Public Health reports a total of 69 COVID-19 positive cases, based on the study of 11,770 samples.
Of the total positive cases, 40 present a source of infection abroad and 28 cases are contacts of confirmed cases, while one patient did not specify a known source of infection.
A total of 56 people were asymptomatic at the time of their diagnosis, for a total of 6,051 patients detected without symptoms.
No deaths are reported on the day (a total of 137), two evacuated and 63 medical discharges were given on the day, for a total of 8,434 recovered patients. 10 patients are in intensive care, one in critical condition (21 years old) and nine in serious condition.

At the moment, 4,080 patients are hospitalized for clinical epidemiological surveillance, of which 760 are suspects, 850 confirmed and 2,470 under surveillance.
Until this December 12, Cuba reports a total of 9,423 patients confirmed with the new coronavirus, based on 1,251,767 samples that have been processed.
