The Central Bank of Cuba (BCC) released the following note this Saturday in Havana:

The news has spread that the foreign entity RevoluGROUP Canada Inc. has included Cuba among the recipient countries for sending remittances.

Empresa canadiense empieza a enviar remesas a Cuba con permiso del gobierno de EEUU

In this sense, we inform that no Cuban financial institution, or of any other type, has a contract or formal relationship with RevoluGROUP, so the reliability and security of said transactions are unknown.

We ratify that the United States government maintains the prohibitions and coercive measures applied in 2020 and 2021 against Cuban financial entities.
