Cuba: two COVID-19 cases today, both from Havana

Eight patients were discharged. One was reported seriously ill.

Two new infections and no death has been the balance of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours for Cuba, according to what Dr. Francisco Durán, national director of epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP). said this morning.

Both cases are Cuban, a 28-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman, both contacts of confirmed and asymptomatic cases.

For their diagnosis, 2,761 tests were made throughout the country, according to the specialist during his usual daily press conference.

A total of 251 people remain hospitalized and 130 are under primary healthcare surveillance in their homes.
