Cuba had no deaths from the new coronavirus in the last 24 hours, and health authorities have reported only one contagion, the lowest number since the first cases were reported on March 11.

This does not mean that the disease has been eradicated, warned Dr. Francisco Durán, national director of epidemiology, at today’s press conference: “There may be groups of asymptomatic people who still transmit it,” he said.
