According to Dr. José Raúl de Armas Fernández, head of the Department of Transmissible Diseases of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), since yesterday night, two patients with COVID-19 have been reported in a serious condition: one at the Pedro Kourí Institute of Tropical Medicine (IPK) in Havana, and the other in the Fermín Valdés Domínguez Hospital, in Holguín.

Cuba registers 21 positive cases of coronavirus and decides to close its borders to tourism

He affirmed during a press conference in the morning that despite having a stable evolution from around the sixth to the eleventh day, the cases made a reversal that can place the carriers in a serious condition.
