Of all infections, 1,249 occurred by autochthonous transmission, predominant in recent months, although Dr. Francisco Durán stressed in his daily press conference that high numbers of imported cases have also been registered, 42 this day, and for which a series of measures were announced in the same space related to transportation and its costs for this group, mostly of Cuban nationality.

The imported cases, with the exception of one Russian and one American, this time also correspond to Cuban travelers from Russia (31), Mexico (five), Spain (three) and Uruguay (one).

Seven other foreigners also tested positive, although these owe the contagion to autochthonous transmission.
