Cuba kicks off April with a total of 212 COVID-19 patients, with no new deaths
Cuba closed March with 26 new infections, while there were no deaths due to COVID-19, as reported by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) this Wednesday. Among the confirmed cases, 25 are Cuban and one is a foreigner (Spain). Of the Cubans diagnosed, 8 had the source of infection outside the country: United States and Mexico (3 each), Chile and Spain (one each); 10 were contacts of confirmed cases and 7 were in contact with travelers from abroad. Most of the new positive cases are registered in Havana (9), Santiago de Cuba (4), Villa Clara (3) and Camagüey (3), Holguín (2) and Sancti Spíritus (2), Pinar del Río (1) and Las Tunas (1). Two minors are on the list, a 15-year-old girl in Florida, Camagüey, and a four-month-old baby in Santiago de Cuba.
