Cuban artists ask that their works be removed from the National Museum of Fine Arts

The group demands that its works exhibited in the permanent and temporary exhibition rooms of the National Museum of Fine Arts “be covered in such a way as to prevent their communication with the public and that those that are not on exhibit also be withdrawn from the Museum’s website” while their demands are not met, including the release of opposition activist Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara, admitted for three weeks in a Havana hospital.

Biden authorizes transfer of three prisoners from Guantánamo

The Joe Biden government has authorized the transfer of three prisoners from the Guantánamo Naval Base, although it is still unknown where they will go and when the transfer would take place, U.S. media reported this Tuesday. In total, only 40 of the nearly 800 inmates that the prison camp came to house remain at the naval base after the camp opened in 2002, ordered by then-President George W.
